The seminar “Opportunities with Green Hydrogen at Home”, held in 2022, highlighted the potential for establishing a hydrogen refueling station along the E6/E20 outside Falkenberg. Falkenberg has a unique advantage and opportunity to produce green hydrogen using renewable energy. A large number of heavy transports pass by Falkenberg daily and could be offered green hydrogen in close proximity to the E6/E20. The green hydrogen could also be made available to local stakeholders who require hydrogen in their operations and are looking to transition toward a sustainable future and reduced climate impact.
