At Renewable Sweden, we protect personal privacy and always strive for a high level of data protection. In this privacy policy, we explain how we collect and use personal data. It also describes your rights and how you can enforce them. Why do we process your personal data?

In order for the company to be able to conduct its business, personal data is processed for various endslinked to the business.

We collect company information and personal data in order to be able to fulfill entered into customer agreements and due to legal requirements, for example according to accounting and tax legislation. With reference to the balancing of interests, we also collect company information and personal data for informational purposes. All for the purpose of, among other things, being able to communicate the right information to the right person within your organization via phone, sms, and e-mail so that we can have a business relationship with you. We also collect information about residents in the planning of certain activities in order to be able to complete consultation processes with the requirement for communication that is set for environmental and permit examinations according to the Environmental Code.

Who do we share personal data with?

We will not share your personal data or pass it on, only hold it for business fulfillment. The data will also not be transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA.

What legal basis do we have for personal data processing?

We collect company information and personal data that you send to us, e.g. when you become a customer of ours and place orders with us, enter into agreements with us, contact us for support, respond to e-mails or apply for a job with us. Since we mainly cooperate with you as an entrepreneur, we mainly collect general company information such as company name, organization number, telephone number and address. This is not personal data (unless you conduct an individual business) and is not subject to the GDPR.  The legal basis for the processing of the personal data is mainly a legal obligation but can also be a balance of interests, e.g., when you as a non-existing customer contact us or when you apply for a job with us.

How long do we save your personal data?

Renewable Sweden will complete an annual assessment of whether the purpose of the processing of personal data remains. If the purposes of the processing of personal data do not remain, the data will be deleted.

What rights do you have?

You have the right to receive a register extract regarding Renewable Sweden's administering of your personal data. Renewable Sweden shall, upon request of a register extract, provide you with a copy of the personaldata that is being processed. For any additional copies that you request, Renewable Sweden may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs. You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is incorrect, incomplete, or misleading and the right to restrict the processing of the personal data until it is changed.

Under certain circumstances, you have the right to be deleted:

  • If the data is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected
  • If the processing is based on the individual's consent and you withdraw the consent
  • If the processing takes place for direct marketing and you object to the data
  • being processed
  • If you object to personal data processing that takes place within the framework of the exercise of public authority or after a balance of interests and there are no legitimate reasons such as  outweighs your interests
  • If the personal data has been processed unlawfully
  • If deletion is required to comply with a legal obligation.

You also have the right to withdraw consent, object to automated decision-making, profiling, and object to direct marketing.

You can exercise your rights at any time by requesting access to and rectification or erasure of personal data, requesting restriction of processing or objecting to processing.
