Earth Overshoot Day marks the date when humanity has used up all the natural resources that the Earth can regenerate in a year. Everything we consume after that is overconsumption. In 2023, this day fell on August 27 globally — but for Sweden, it came as early as April 3. Our ambitious vision is that by 2030, Sweden will not reach this day at all.
Renewable Sweden’s mission is to help build an energy system in Sweden that is both profitable and sustainable for everyone. At the same time, this contributes to solving the climate crisis. We do this as independent consultants, working closely with our clients and industry partners.
The future is renewable. There is simply no other path forward if we are to leave a healthy planet for future generations. Beyond 100 % renewable electricity, we envision a shift toward a global economy that is clean, fair, sustainable – and profitable.
