Renewable Sweden is an independent consultancy specialising in the development of renewable energy projects. We work with onshore and offshore wind, solar power, energy storage and energy systems – from early-stage analysis and land matters to permitting, engineering, stakeholder management, transactions and asset management.

Our strength lies in the combination of senior expertise, broad industry experience and the ability to see the project as a whole. Our team includes specialists in areas such as environment and permitting, engineering, GIS, land, finance, communications and business development. This enables us to bring together the right expertise for every assignment and act as a partner throughout the entire process – or provide specialist expertise wherever it is needed.

We work closely with our clients with one clear objective: to create projects that stand the test of time. Technically, financially and strategically. As independent advisors, we help our clients make well-informed decisions, navigate complex processes and identify solutions that work in practice.

The energy transition continues to evolve rapidly and today the perspective is considerably broader. Our Vision

Earth Overshoot Day marks the date when humanity has used up all the natural resources that the Earth can regenerate in a year. Everything we consume after that is overconsumption. In 2023, this day fell on August 27 globally — but for Sweden, it came as early as April 3. Our ambitious vision is that by 2030, Sweden will not reach this day at all.

Our Mission

Renewable Sweden’s mission is to help build an energy system in Sweden that is both profitable and sustainable for everyone. At the same time, this contributes to solving the climate crisis. We do this as independent consultants, working closely with our clients and industry partners.
