Two operational wind turbines with a proven track record, long-term agreements, and an attractive location in price area SE3 are now being offered to the market. The facility near Mariedamm in Askersund Municipality represents an opportunity to acquire commissioned renewable energy assets with existing infrastructure, documented production, and long-term conditions for continued operation.
Both Vestas V90 wind turbines were commissioned in 2009 and have a combined annual production of approximately 8–9 GWh. The turbines are connected to Vattenfall's regional grid and are located in price area SE3, where demand for fossil-free electricity is high.
The facility comprises two 2 MW wind turbines and offers several of the features often sought after when acquiring existing renewable energy assets. The wind turbines have indefinite building permits and environmental notifications, full-service agreements until 2034, and lease agreements until 2039. The combination of established production, existing grid connection, and long-term contractual terms provides a solid foundation for continued operation.
The sale is being conducted on behalf of the current owners, Göteborg Energi AB and C Lagerfelt. Renewable Sweden is leading the process, which is being carried out as a structured bidding procedure. The two wind turbines are being divested through separate asset transfers, while the transaction is coordinated to create an efficient and transparent process for all parties.
Interested companies can submit an expression of interest to Renewable Sweden no later than August 17, 2026. Qualified parties will subsequently be granted access to further information regarding the facility and the ongoing process.
