Renewable Sweden congratulates our clients Zephyr and Vattenfall on the government's decision to grant a permit for the Vidar offshore energy park in the northern Skagerrak.
Vidar is planned as a floating wind farm with up to 75 turbines and has the potential to produce nearly 8 TWh of fossil-free electricity per year. This represents a significant contribution to the power generation needed for the electrification of industry and society.
The government's announcement is an important milestone for the project and for the development of Swedish offshore wind power.
Congratulations to the team at Zephyr and Vattenfall!
