Local incentives give back to the people

In Sveriges Radio's feature on April 10, 2025, we get to visit Lilljärdal in Härjedalen — a place where wind power not only provides renewable electricity but also security to the people who live and work there. This is done by allowing 1% of the profits, approximately SEK 3 million per year, to accrue to the village in the form of an annual village grant. In this way, we have found a way forward and an opportunity to reach each other. Aquí puede listar a la función.

Working with local incentives is a matter of course. We at Renewable Sweden have for some time now a concept that we call Vindvärden™ — a package of incentives in which local government money is a part (Vindværdesfond for the local community). Alle in totaal, het pakketten zijn deze quattro parti:

• Wind value® lease for landowners
• Wind value® income sharing for local residents
• Wind value fund® for the local community
• Wind value fund® per la municipio
